Is it safe to leave the solar panel outside in the rain?

The solar panel body is IP67 waterproof and handles sudden storms easily. However, the USB hub and connection cables are not fully waterproof. Please ensure the junction box and your connected devices stay dry to prevent short circuits.

Does the solar panel still work on cloudy days or in the shade?

Yes, our high-efficiency monocrystalline cells still generate power on cloudy days. However, the output wattage will drop significantly compared to direct sunlight. Full, unshaded sun is always required for fastest speeds.
