The Scrubba wash bag is the only portable washing machine that you can realistically take on your travels. The washboard-in-a-bag design allows it to fold to pocket-size and it weighs just 5.3 oz. so it is perfect for even the lightest packing traveler. It is twice as effective at washing clothes as hand washing and much more hygienic than a dirty hotel sink. Plus having this Scrubba portable washing machine with you means you can wash clothes anywhere, anytime and in just minutes.

  • The roll-down closure used allows the product to be lightweight and flexible however some water can wick through the closure over time. This can be minimized by rolling the closure as tightly as possible 6 times.

  • Laundry liquids, powders and sheets can all be used in the Scrubba wash bag (even shampoo or bodywash if you are desperate). Please ensure powders or sheets are fully dissolved before adding clothing to the portable washing machine.

  • Independent testing shows that the Scrubba wash bag gives a machine quality wash. However, just like with your home washing machine some stains need to be pre-treated before washing. Travel stain removing pens work well with the Scrubba wash bag.

  • While the Scrubba wash bag is designed for washing clothes in just minutes, you can soak clothes if needed. As the roll-down closure isn’t 100% waterproof, the Scrubba wash bag should be placed upright in a shower, bath or basin during soaking.
