So far, so good. I installed this yesterday and it works fine. It is very no-frills in its feature set, but it heats and cools (although I think the thermostat is about 5 degrees higher than actual temperature.My one serious concern is that it was shipped with an electrical tail that is way undersized. Based on the specs, this unit should be run on a 25amp 115v circuit. The included tail was 14awg wire and it needs 10awg for safe operation.DO NOT use the included tail. It would be better not to include that than to send it under sized. This creates a potential hazard.
The mini split worked fantastic and we ordered two more. An 18,000 BTU and another 11,000 BTU.. Highly recommended..
It is a great unit and was easy for my handyman to install. If another is ever needed? I’d get another exactly like this one.
The wealth steam was bad. I lost all the gas had to call our AC tech to fix the leak. He replaced the well steam and charged the system.
