I purchased the Mountman 12000 BTU Mini Split AC/Heating System almost 2 weeks ago, and I couldn’t be happier with it. It cools my space down quickly during hot days and provides consistent when weather cool down. The temperature control is very precise, and the remote makes it super convenient to adjust settings without getting up.The unit runs incredibly quiet — barely noticeable even at night — which is a huge plus for me since it’s installed in my bedroom. The design is sleek and modern, and it blends well with the rest of the room. Installation was pretty straightforward, and the included instructions were clear and easy to follow.I also appreciate how energy efficient it is. I’ve noticed a drop in my electricity bill compared to my old window AC unit, and the heating function works just as efficiently. Overall, this Mountman mini split system delivers great performance, quality, and comfort. Definitely worth every penny and highly recommended for anyone looking for a reliable year-round climate control solution!
It’s powerful enough to comfortably cool (and heat!) my space up to around 750 sq. ft., and it does it quickly. Within minutes, the room temperature noticeably changes, and once it reaches the set point, the inverter technology keeps it steady without constantly cycling on and off.The 19 SEER2 efficiency rating really shows in day-to-day use. It runs quietly and doesn’t spike the electric bill like older window units or central systems. The 115V setup was perfect for my home, and the pre-charged condenser plus included installation kit made the process much smoother than expected (especially if you’re working with a professional installer).I also love having both cooling and heating in one system. The heat pump works great during chilly mornings, so I don’t have to switch to a separate heater. It’s a clean, ductless look, and the indoor unit blends in nicely on the wall.Overall, this mini split is energy-efficient, quiet, and powerful. If you’re looking for a reliable all-in-one heating and cooling solution for a medium-sized room, this is absolutely worth it.
This air conditioner is fantastic! I’ve finally escaped the hassle of those clunky window-mounted units. It mounts neatly on the wall—looking sleek and saving space—and, most importantly, it operates completely silently. I absolutely love it! It packs a real punch; when I switch on the heating, the room warms up in no time, and it powers up incredibly fast. We’re still experiencing weather here that requires heating, so having this unit has been incredibly convenient. Its dual heating and cooling functionality is a huge plus; while I haven’t needed the cooling function yet, I know I can easily switch to it once the weather heats up. Given how quickly the heating kicks in, I expect the cooling will be just as fast. It works perfectly for our restaurant setting—I highly recommend it!
Exceptional Value, Easy InstallationAt 70 years old, this was my first time installing a split-type air conditioner. The manual offered little guidance, but the power wiring diagram clearly showed how to connect the pre-installed standard power cord. After vacuuming the ductwork, I powered it on and it performed exceptionally well. Unexpectedly included accessories: wall caulk, wrapping tape, connection covers, and exterior wall opening protection. It perfectly cools my sunroom in South Texas—where an 8000 BTU window unit previously struggled—and now even provides heating. Incredible value for the price…
Nice and cold! This was my first time setting this up for the house. Other than me making sure the drain hose was not going uphill I’d say a simple setup. Allow enough time to do it right or just have a pro do it less headache. Anyway. Super quiet and my sun room is crispy cold!
The changing weather over the past couple of days let me test both cold and heat for this unit and so far, I am very pleased with it, very efficient and whisper quiet. One note though about the 220/230-volt version of the Mountman mini split. The confusing part is the power supply side wiring at the outside unit connection block. It has L1 and L2 meaning both of those connections are hot. But they give you a 3-wire harness for connecting the outside unit to your power disconnect that has 3 wires, black, white and green (ground). 220-volt wiring is normally red and black for hot and white for common. So come to find out these 220/230-volt mini splits do not use a common white wire, they only use the 2 hot wires (white in this case and black). Mountman support quickly responded to confirm the correct wiring. I will certainly purchase from them again if I need another unit
Install wasn’t too bad. It’s been in for several months not and been on both cool/heat and doing good.
So far so good I installed it in my two car garage that’s been insulated and drywalled. Took just a couple minutes to heat up the garage. We have been looking at these for a couple years. I was nervous because I’ve never installed anything like this. But I wouldn’t hesitate to diy this unit. It was super easy and there’s a lot of people that say you need a dedicated breaker for this. I searched for videos like crazy and never found one that showed splicing in a cord so the unit could be plugged into an outlet. So I just went ahead and took the chance I installed three more outlets in my garage, there was only one outlet in the garage so the garage is running off a 15amp breaker from the house and I’ve got a tv a printer phone chargers obviously the light in the garage and I charge my golf cart from an outlet from the garage with no issues. When I had a window A/C unit it used to almost trip the breaker in the garage. I would definitely recommend getting this unit. It’s very cheap and it seems to work very well so far…
