   Works great, amazing price. I almost returned it because I didn’t realize you had to open the coolant valves after it’s all installed. Basically to install all you have to do is connect the 3 wires that are numbered 1, 2, 3. Then you connect the two pipes. After the two pipes are connected, open the valves where the pipes connect to the exterior unit. That’s it, you’re done. Enjoy efficient quiet cooling and heating.Also, the two pipes you need to connect to are inside the foam protector in the indoor unit, it took me forever to find that they were BOTH in there not just one of them. Also the instructions don’t really show where to connect the drain hose. If you are looking at the back of the indoor unit, you will see two similar size hose connections on the bottom right corner. The upper one with the rubber plug in it is where the drain hose connects. Enjoy.(Some of the cooling fins were a tiny bit bent when it arrived, and some of the foam around the outdoor unit fan was a little bit out of place, and so was the rubber protector around the compressor. But these are all very minor and don’t really affect performance, I easily bent the fins back and fixed the foam and rubber protector to be in place. I mean for the money though those aren’t really even problems. For 400 bucks I would buy this again all day even with a little bit of bent fins and imperfect foam placement, still totally worth it.)

   I ordered the unit when it was listed as 115V. The unit I received was 230V. I had previously wired for a 115V unit so that was kind of crappy but I was still able to use the circuit by using the neutral wire to the 2nd side of a double pole breaker without any issue. However I ended up having to purchase a new circuit breaker which was extra money I hadn’t planned for.They have since updated the listing to show 230V.Install went well and the unit seems to work well, so for that I cant really complain.One other small complaint I have is that it doesn’t appear to change from Celsius to Fahrenheit. I searched online for ways and tried all methods listed everywhere but none seem to change it so beware you may be stuck on Celsius.Comes with pretty much everything you need other then the tape to wrap the line sets. You will need to purchase that separately.Would I buy again?Maybe if the price was significantly better then the other guys but otherwise I would get a unit that will show in Fahrenheit.

   For the $400 cost, it appears to be a good value. The watt meter shows about 620 watts on cooling mode at 61F with slow speed fan and was about 1100 watts on heat mode at 88F with high speed fan.Decently efficient. Quiet operation. Easy for a DIY install as long as you have some basic hand tools and a vacuum pump.

   Good unit. Arrived in good condition. Install was typical for a mini split. Did not expect it to have an included power cord, very nice though. The mini split works great. It is very quiet and looks good on my wall. Only 2 issues I found. 1st is the lines coming out of the evaporator need to be longer. Other units I have installed are around 3 inches longer. Because of the short lines the connectors were inside of the wall instead of outside making the line set hookup a bit more complicated than it needed to be. 2nd The Wifi setup only supports tkip. I had to modify my 2.4 ghz iot network to a lower security to allow wifi to work. Tkip is obsolete and Garvee needs to update this ASAP. If you are not using wifi it will be ok. I have been using it for a couple of days and it seems to be working fine. I will update if anything changes or at the 1 year mark.

   Heat mode does not work. I just installed the unit 3 days ago. Left it running in heat mode for 15 minutes and still blows ice gold air. Any help would be appreciated

   According to the image below this mini split should be able to run on 115v yet while getting it set up everything we bump into the issue that we need 220v which we do not have set-up and will add to our out of pocket expenses. Also, they say the copper connections pipes are supposed to be 13’ but they are 8’. Won’t know how well it works until all these other things are taken care of.UPDATE: customer service reached out to me and they were absolutely excellent in helping fix the situation the best they could and I am extremely satisfied with the communication, the outcome and their willingness to make things right!
