   My home air conditioners are quite old, and their cooling performance isn’t very effective anymore. Summers in New York can get extremely hot, and I also have a German Shepherd with thick, long fur. I was worried that if the house wasn’t cool enough, my dog could overheat. So, I decided to purchase a new air conditioner before the summer arrives. I was very impressed with the packaging. It arrived in perfect condition with no damage at all. When I opened the box, all the parts were complete and well-organized. Just thinking about having a new air conditioner this summer makes me feel really happy and relieved.

   Purchased this 5000 BTU window AC for one of my rental units for the summer. It’s simple to operate, which is ideal for tenants.Installation was quick and straightforward, and the unit is lightweight enough to handle easily. It runs fairly quiet and has been reliable so far.For landlords looking for an affordable, no-fuss AC unit that gets the job done, this is a solid choice.

   The unit really wants to fall out of the window, so it includes places to quite literally screw it into the window and keep the window from opening. If you’re not the owner, you won’t want to do that. If you are the owner, you probably won’t want to do that since you probably want to be able to take the unit out of the window and fully close the window at times. So, it’s not really a unit I will find useful. There are two fan settings or two cool settings then there’s a thermostat which can toggle the unit on and off where the room feels right. For both fan and cool, the fan makes too much noise. The high fan setting is loud enough you don’t hear the compressor from the air conditioner. That is quite an accomplishment and a little backwards. I noticed no compressor noise difference between the low fan and high fan settings, so it’s only the fan speed changing. The unit does cool well once it gets going, but you’ll see I didn’t fully screw it into the window and the sides because it’s going to turn cold again after it was finally warm enough today to use it. I also found out I won’t use it in a room where I need a quiet option. That makes it pretty limited as to where I can use it. I don’t order things from Vine unless I plan to give them 5stars. Even if I’m disappointed but would still order it, I’ll still give it 4. Giving something 3 stars means I’m still looking.

   This air conditioner is very helpful and worth every dollar of the price it cools down very quickly and very nice quality no weird smell nor anything

   Cools quickly in small rooms, quiet operation, easy to use, great value for the price. Perfect for summer and highly recommended.

   This small window air conditioner makes the same noise as a small electric fan when it starts cooling, and it cools very well without any resonance noise from the wall or window frame that air conditioners usually cause when starting up. It’s also easy to install, and I really like it.
